New positions may benefit from a grace period of up to five grace days, during which no holding fees will be incurred.
Grace days are consumed when a position remains open through the applicable overnight rollover. An ordinary overnight rollover counts as one grace day. On the applicable triple-swap night, the overnight rollover counts as three grace days rather than one.
For Forex, Metals, Bonds and Commodities, Wednesday is the triple-swap night. A position held through the applicable Wednesday-night rollover therefore consumes three grace days.
For Energies and Indices, Friday is the triple-swap night. A position held through the applicable Friday-night rollover therefore consumes three grace days.
For XNGUSD, XTIUSD and XBRUSD, holding fees apply from Day 1 without a grace period.
For USDJPY and GBPJPY, holding fees apply from Day 3 following a two-day grace period.
Once the applicable grace period has expired, holding fees are charged in accordance with the holding-fee schedule shown on this page. Holding fees may be charged for calendar days, including weekends, with weekend holding fees applied on the next business day.
